West Kelowna Warriors defenseman Isaiah Norlin has been named a BC Hockey League All-Star as the league unveiled the first round of players who will participate in the BCHL All-Star Weekend in Penticton, BC from January 19-20.
Norlin, 20, will join 16 other BCHLers who were selected in a coaches vote that determined who will be representing each team at the event with a fan vote to determine the final seven spots in the All-Star Weekend. The event will comprise of a Skills Competition, Alumni & Friends Game and the All-Star Game.
The Minneapolis, Minnesota native has paced the Warriors blue line in scoring through his third season with the team, amassing 5 goals and 11 assists for 16 points in 20 games thus far and currently sits 12th in scoring amongst BCHL defenders. The Clarkson University commit is a veteran of 112 games in the league where he has produced 13 goals and 60 assists for 73 points in that time.

The Warriors will head to the Nicola Valley for the third time this season to take on the Merritt Centennials on Friday night at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 PM with the game broadcasted live on AM 1150 as well as streamed online on FloHockey.
West Kelowna returns home on Saturday night when they take on the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Saturday night with Pastor Don Richmond’s annual Christmas Hamper Drive taking place at the game. $1 from each ticket sold will help Don pack 80 Christmas hampers for local families in need during the holiday season. The night is presented by Tim Hortons with the game taking place at 7:00 PM at Royal LePage Place.
