Bear Creek Provincial Park hasn't been adversly effected by the prospect of flooding.
The entire campground is full heading into the May long weekend.
Calgary resident Edward Omahony says the drive along Westside Road had him having second thoughts about spending time at the desirable vacation spot.
"The water is very, very close to going over the road but not quite. You would need another foot or so and it would probably breach the road so their would be no where to go. That would mean someone would have to come and tell you to get your trailer going and we are evacuating you. As it looks like right now, we are fine".
Omahony is hoping the water level remain low until he and his wife pack up their RV and head home after a six night stay.
"As we came in today they were working on the bridge. The only concern is the lake is high so we don't want a thunderstorm or more rain", Omahony's wife Cathy added.
The Omahony's are familar with the dangers of flooding after experiencing the Calgary floods in 2013 that killed five people and caused an estimated 5 billion dollars in property damage.
