The fifth annual Great Okanagan Beer Festival will take place on Saturday, May 11, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Waterfront Park which will require the closure of the concession plaza, Island stage, the lakefront promenade and the south end of Tugboat Beach between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.
A portion of the north end of Tugboat Beach will be accessible during the closure through Rotary Marsh Park, off Sunset Drive.
On Friday, May 10, the public may experience increased activity and potential restriction during set-up in the early morning through Rotary Marsh Park.
Waterfront Park will be open but with restrictions and the lakefront promenade will close at 8:00 p.m.
