Wednesday's Bell Let's Talk Day was the most successful one to date.
Bell Canada says yesterday's engagement will lead to a donation of more than $6.9 million, the highest one-year total on record.
When all the text messages, phone calls, tweets, and campaign video views were added up, people from Canada and across the world sent over 138 million messages to support the cause.
The company says this year saw a 5% increase in activity over last year.
In particular, social media interactions saw a 10% year-to-year increase, and topped out at over 24 million this year.
Bell Let's Talk was started on a five year-trial in 2010, that was then extended for another five years in 2015.
Including this year's contributions, nearly $93.5 million has been raised for mental health supports across Canada.
