The bodies of two people, missing after two boats collided on Osoyoos Lake on the weekend, have been recovered.
The RCMP Underwater Recovery Team located the bodies of a 35-year-old man from Kamloops - and a 36-year-old man from Maple Ridge Sunday evening.
The accident happened Saturday when a speeding boat plowed into a second one - send the speeding boat into the air before it crashed into the water and sank.
Three people were rescued immediately after the crash - and at last word - remain in critical condition.
Police are still on the scene working to raise both boats from the bottom of the lake - and RCMP marine analysts are helping Osoyoos RCMP in the investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the collision - or the boats prior to the crash - and anyone who may have video footage is asked to contact RCMP at 250-495-7236..
