Police in West Kelowna are investigating the sudden death of a man last week.
On Sunday June 24, police were called out to a rural area north of Bartley Road, where they found the body at the bottom of an embankment.
52-year-old Donald James Irvine, who also used the last name Cove, has been identified.
Though investigators believe he didn't die in the place his body was found, the death is not being investigated as a homicide.
Police say he wasn't registered to any address, and are trying to find out where he might have been living.
Anyone with information can contact the detachment at 250-768-2880, or make an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
