The body of a Kamloops man who went missing in the waters of Okanagan Lake over the weekend has been recovered.
West Kelowna RCMP say the body was spotted by a boater Wednesday morning, in a shallow area of Okanagan Lake north of Kinsmen Park.
The 23-year-old had been boating with seven other people when he went overboard during a stop between Kinsman and Gyro Park last Saturday.
The group did not initially notice the man was no longer on board when they carried on for a distance towards the bridge.
West Kelowna RCMP are assisting the BC Coroners Service with their investigation into the man's death.
