RCMP responded to an early morning call on Monday, which described two school buses driving around a church parking lot in a reckless and dangerous manner.
Shortly after 1 AM, officers arrived at the church on the 400 block of Highway 33 West to find the two school buses wedged into one another and abandoned. One of the buses was still idling when officers arrived at the scene.
The school buses were stuck together enough that they had to be separated with help from a local towing company.
Following fresh footprints in the snow, RCMP managed to track down two male suspects, ages 18 and 19, and bring them into custody to face potential charges.
It remains unknown how the two suspects gained access to the buses, but the Kelowna RCMP's investigation is ongoing at this time.
