There's no shortage of events this weekend celebrating Canada's 150th birthday.
West Kelowna's Westside Daze begins this evening ending with a fireworks display at Gellatly Bay beginning at 10:15. Saturday's parade begins at 10:30 am and Sunday's pancake breakfast starts at 8:00 am.

In Kelowna - Official Canada Day Ceremonies begin at Prospera Place at 1:00 pm including the cutting of a massive birthday cake. There are events all day along the waterfront. Due to high water along the foreshore - the fireworks Saturday night have been postponed to August 5th.

Peachland will start the weekend with the Beach Run at 7:30 am on Saturday. The cake cutting and official ceremonies are at noon. Fireworks will take place at 10:30 pm at the Day Wharf area.
