At around 10 AM Friday morning, employees at the Lifemark Health Centre in Kelowna had a bit of a scare.
An SUV drove straight into a window at the front of the business, destroying it, and damaging a part of a wall as well.
Thankfully, no one was hurt at the scene. The driver, an elderly woman, was checked out by emergency crews a the scene and appeared to be fine.
"It was just kind of, you know, one of those things where you've got a car... in your building..." Chuckled Clinic Director Nancy Reid.
The cause of the crash is considered to be accidental, with the driver likely pressing on the gas pedal instead of the break while approaching the business.
