A man who caught two others breaking into his minivan early Monday was attacked by the thieves.
It happened around 2 am on Monday, on Glenwood Avenue between Woodlawn and Aberdeen Street, when the victim saw someone trying to break into his van.
That's when the robber came after him, and hit him in the back with a golf club, before both thieves ran away.
Both suspects were tracked down and arrested nearby on Grenfell Court.
Fortunately, the victim wasn't seriously injured in the attack.
The 25-year-old and the 33-year-old were both released by police.
The younger man was not charged by police, though the older one was released on strict conditions and will be in court on February 7.
