A Kelowna man involved in numerous car thefts late last year was sentenced in court on Friday.
19-year-old Lenny James Lipscombe, originally from Edmonton, was sentenced to serve 6 months jail time, minus 75 days time served.
From November 12th to November 24th, Lipscombe was involved in a total of 9 carjackings in Kelowna, until his arrest on the 24th.
He was also involved in an assault on a convenience store worker last year, uttering threats and throwing objects at the man.
In addition to the car theft, assault, and threat charges, Lipscombe also faced charges of mischief under $5,000 and possession of a controlled substance.
Lipscombe appeared via video in court Friday to receive his sentence.
