A man with an extensive criminal history appeared in court again on Tuesday morning in connection to his latest arrest.
Mark Aaron Pauls was arrested earlier this month on over a dozen charges, including several counts of illegal possession of firearms and resisting arrest.
Pauls was first arrested back in 2003, and since then has found himself in trouble with the law numerous times. Past charges against Pauls have included assault, breaking and entering, possession of illegal substances, and fleeing from a police officer.
He was also previously involved in an incident back in 2009 when he used bear spray on a local police officer, who responded by shooting Pauls in the legs.
At that time, Pauls was wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.
Pauls, who is now in police custody, appeared in court via video on Tuesday morning, and will appear again on March 13th.
