As the strike at Gateway Casinos drags on into its third month, the union is calling on the company to get back to bargaining.
In a news release - BC Government Employees Union president Stephanie Smith says her members' stories are heartbreaking illustrations of the cost of Gateway's "profits before people" approach.
Smith says talks between the company, and its over 675 members, broke off last month after the company refused to release financial information to back-up claims they can't afford the workers' wage proposals.
Gateway has four casinos in the Okanagan including Playtime Casino in Kelowna.
