As part of the work of the Transportation Steering Committee, Central Okanagan Public Schools is currently consulting with its community on the future of its transportation system. As part of its commitment to transparency in the process, the District has publicly released the results and analysis of Survey 1.
The feedback received in Survey 1 informed the considerations that will be published on the District's Transportation Review website and will be presented at upcoming public drop-in sessions:
Canyon Falls Middle School – December 3 (6:00PM-7:30PM)
George Elliot Secondary School – December 5 (6:00PM-7:30PM)
Mount Boucherie Secondary School – December 9 (6:00PM-7:30PM)
Rutland Secondary School - December 10 (6:00PM-7:30PM)
Dr. Knox Middle School - December 12 (6:00PM-7:30PM)
A second survey will be available on December 3 for the public to provide their feedback on the considerations, which will inform the committee's final recommendations to the Board of Education. The District encourages all families, including those who do not receive bus service, to participate in these consultations to inform decisions as the Board of Education sets Transportation service levels and determines its budget priorities for future school years.
