Spring is slowly creeping our way. We're beginning to see daytime highs above zero and that means, city clean up crews are about to get busy.
Supervisor Steven Bryans says, "We will start our spring sweep, doing the sidewalks first over the next few weeks. We will also do medians, bike lanes and other areas where we work by hand. This is of course, weather permitting."
Bryans says the big sweepers won't likely be deployed until the first week of April.
"We have contractors come in and help us. There'll be four or five of them and two of our own machines."
It's a sure sign of spring when the street sweepers get to work and that means, flip flops and beaches will be next.
