Applications are being accepted for Kelowna's new homelessness task force.
Journey Home will include up to 15 members who will be mandated to develop a long-term strategy to address homelessness that is community-driven and inclusive.
Two members have already been chosen: Okanagan College professor Dr. Kyleen Myrah and consulting firm CEO Martin Bell, who are acting as co-chairs.
The city says members will be selected based on their skills, knowledge, experience and strong interest in homelessness prevention and the provision of affordable housing.
The online application can be found on the city's website and will be accepted until July 26.
The task force will run for about a year and will report directly to city council.
