Kelowna received between 5 and 10 cms of snow Sunday into Monday morning.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Alyssa Charboneau says most of the Okanagan got similar amounts, except for areas around Vernon, which saw about 15 cms.
She says the heavy snowfall warning for the Coquihalla Highway - between Hope and Merritt - ended Monday morning, but flurries were expected through the afternoon.
Charbonneau says it'll begin clearing in Kelowna Tuesday - and that means a return to colder temperatures.
"Temperatures are expected to fall through the afternoon. A high of minus-7, earlier in the day, then by the afternoon it'll drop down to minus-11. Then as the high pressure ridge arrives Tuesday night, and that low cloud clears out, the overnight low for Tuesday night will drop down to minus-17. So we're getting back into some cold temperatures for the middle and latter part of the week," she says.
Charbonneau says the overnight lows this week will be colder than normal, but no where near record lows for Kelowna, which are in the minus-25 to minus-30 range for this time of year.
