After after unsuccessful efforts to resolve a dispute over hours of service delivered, Community Living BC is cancelling its contracts with Kelowna's Tier Support Services.
In an email to AM 1150 News, CLBC says it has procedures for monitoring contracts, conducting reviews and resolving disputes - and at any time either party can choose to terminate a contract without cause.
CLBC funds services for adults with development disabilities, through hundreds of agencies, and says its contracts with Tier will end June 30th.
CLBC says it has explained the change to those affected, and has connected them to new provider, Thompson Community Services.
