Emergency Officials say there were no unexpected challenges overnight for firefighters on the Philpott Road wildfire.
A cool overnight temperature and minimal wind kept the fire from progressing - it was 380 hectares in size at last report - and officials say there are still no reports of any structures being impacted.
Firefighters from several local and regional departments, and crews from the BC wildfire service, created a fire guard overnight to try and contain the fire.
An Evacuation Order remains in place for about 11-hundred residents - and officials say the status of the order will be reviewed later this morning.
Highway 33 also remains closed from Gallagher Road to Big White Road - but there is a detour available via McCulloch Road.
