The wet, stormy weather we've had this week is expected to last through the weekend - then conditions will begin to improve.
Meteorologist Alyssa Charbonneau at Environment Canada says there's another storm system headed our way on Saturday.
"It's going to bring rain through the day Saturday, and windy conditions as well, although not as extreme as what we saw before - and then by Sunday, the rain will taper off to about a 70% chance of showers before clearing out late in the day," she says.
Charbonneau says rainfall amounts Saturday could total between 5 and 10 millimetres and there's a good chance of flurries on the mountain passes Saturday morning.
Beginning Monday - the forecast is calling for sunshine with daytime highs rising through the week to a high of 14 by Wednesday.
The normal high for this time of year is 11 - the normal low is minus-2.
