We likely won't see as much rain tomorrow as originally forecasted by Environment Canada.
Meteorologist Doug Lundquist says the good news is the heat wave is coming to an end with highs in the mid 20's.
"That's pretty close to average for us, by about 10 degrees from what we've seen. I am concerned about tomorrow with winds on that cold front, especially for that fire in Penticton."
Winds are expected to gust near 50 kilometres an hour by noon on Friday.
"I was hoping we were going to get more, maybe a trace to five millimetres (rain) across the Central and South Okanagan, but it is going to be cooler and continuing with that pattern into early next week."
