A helicopter team, and two ground crews, rescued a hang-glider near Peachland on Tuesday afternoon.
Search and Rescue manager Kelvin Hall says a young woman had crashed her glider - just after take off on Pincushion Mountain - and was suffering from lower leg injuries.
Rescuers found her near the summit - and were lowered down to the victim from the helicopter.
She was then treated and airlifted to an ambulance and transported to Kelowna Hospital.
There's no report on the extent of her injuries.
