Fire crews are on scene at a small fire near North Ellis Creek, east of Penticton.
Fire Information Officer Kyla Fraser says the fire is only 0.1ha in size.
"We do have six firefighters, as well as a response officer on site," Fraser stated.
Fraser says the fire was ignited earlier today and is believed to be human caused.
No structures are being threatened.
The fire is classified as being held.
