Shadow Ridge and Kelowna Springs Golf Club were hit hard by last springs flooding.
In May, 2017, Mill Creek spilled it's banks causing significant damage to several holes, specifically Shadow Ridge which was forced to close in order to dry out.
Kelowna Springs also felt the wrath of flooding.
You don't have to jog general manager Ian Robertson's memory to recount what happened.
"It was roughly double the amount of water that we had taken on before. We lost about four or five holes all on our back nine for roughly double the length of time that we'd lost previously".
Robertson used a drone to take some spectacular photos of the water damage, releasing them to the media showing the impact of the flooding.
"We had some boggy conditions we had never previously experienced and that was before the flooding. Things work out funny though. From June 1st to the end of October, we had a remarkable run", Robertson added.
Last May's flooding cost Kelowna Springs about 20 grand in lost business and repairs.
