The donated breast milk bank for the entire province is located at the BC Women's Hospital in Vancouver. They need more donors and a new storage facility.
Amber Baker's little guy was born premature at 26 weeks. He's been fed donated milk since birth.
"It's really difficult for milk to come in with a C-section as well as a premature baby. It's better for their digestion, it's better for antibodies, it's just better for them."
The hospital is trying to raise 1.5 million dollars to build the new storage and processing facility.
Last year, they supplied nearly 4000 recipients across the province.
