We will get more details this week from premier John Horgan on plans to loosen COVID-19 restrictions.
That's music to the ears of local businesses.
The Downtown Kelowna Association's Mark Burley was asked what he believes the new normal will look like, "Physical distancing. I also imagine the bigger part is going to be disinfectant at the entrance of every store and people will be asked to disinfect their hands before they come in. As well as the staff in the store either wearing gloves or having disinfectant very handy and wearing masks."
Horgan says workers and customers in the restaurant industry, one of the hardest-hit sectors, will have to be confident that they are safe.
