He wants to open his pub a week from today, Tuesday after the May long weekend.
Dave Willoughby owns Doc Willoughby's Pub on Bernard whose doors have been shut for two months.
"I'm waiting to see some clear guidance from the province as to exactly when we can open and what the perameters we're going to be able to operate under. I'm making assumptions right now based on the fact that that's what the BC Restaurant Food Association is lobbying the goverment for, which is 50% capacity and opening mid-May, which is what Premier Horgan had mentioned."
So for now, Willoughby waits with cautious optimism believing his business will be able to bounce back.
