Another warning from the Kamloops Fire Centre on the dry conditions heading into the weekend.
Fire Information Officer Taylor MacDonald says the forecast calls for a small chance of rain.
"Often times with the thunderstorms, there does come lightning. As we saw yesterday, we did experience a bit of lightning come through the fire centre on the whole, so we did experience some fires popping up around the fire centre as a result of that."
June is traditionally the wettest month of the summer in the Okanagan.
"Just a reminder to everyone going into the weekend, with hot and dry weather and thunderstorms, just be extra careful while you are out there. If they see any wildfires they can report to us and making sure they are careful with campfires and whatnot," MacDonald added.
