West Kelowna RCMP nabbed a break-in suspect, over the weekend, and apparently caught his getaway driving napping.
Shortly after 2:00 am on Saturday, police responded to a commercial alarm at a business in the 3400 block of Louie Drive.
In the parking lot - they found a woman asleep in what police think was the getaway vehicle - and then heard noises indicating there was someone else inside the building.
Corporal Jesse O'Donaghey says police set up a perimeter around the building, and with the help of a canine unit, flushed out the suspect through holes he allegedly made in the walls between businesses.
A 53-year-old Edmonton man was arrested and spent the weekend in jail - he was to appear in court Tuesday.
An Edmonton woman was questioned and later released without charge.
