A woman had to be rescued from Myra Canyon after getting injured while biking Wednesday afternoon.
The Kelowna Fire Department was called to the trail around 12:00pm.
“We received a call from the ambulance service that a female had fallen off a bike at the fifth trestle of the Myra Canyon system so we dispatched our all-terrain vehicle to the scene,” said Platoon Captain John Kelly.
The woman was loaded onto the ATV and transported to an ambulance waiting at the parking lot.
Kelly says the woman suffered some facial injuries and was shaken up.
