Visitors to Mission Creek Regional Park are invited to have their say about the replacement of the play structures at yoursay.rdco.com.
Now until December 8, 2023, an online survey is available where visitors can share their thoughts and comment on the function of the existing play structures to guide their replacement at Mission Creek Regional Park playground.
The timber play structure at Mission Creek Regional Park was installed in 1997 and in 2012 the playground was expanded and improved. Due to the age and condition of the structure, it’s time to replace it. A similar structure would include slides, raised walkways, monkey bars and interactive play panels.
The structure replacement will take into consideration access for diverse abilities to align with the RDCO’s strategic priorities for 2023 to 2026.
In addition to the online survey, RDCO Parks Services staff will be connecting with park visitors in person at a variety of times throughout the public engagement period.
The Regional District offers more than 2,100 hectares of parkland including 86 kilometres of designated trails in 30 regional parks for visitors to explore. Visit rdco.com/parks to plan your next outing.
