The wildfire above Peachland has changed status from out of control to held.
The BC Wildfire Service expects the fire, based on fuel and weather conditions and resources available, to remain within the current perimeter, control line or boundary.

BC Wildfire crews continue to fight an out of control blaze 4.5 km west of Peachland.
The fire is currently mapped at 2.6 hectares in size and is believed to be human caused.
The BC Wildfire Service says there are currently 3 Initial Attack and 1 Unit Crews responding for a total of 34 personnel.
In the air a skimmer group is responding, working to cool fire behaviour.
A water tender is also supporting response.

Peachland fire crews along with air support from the BC Wilfire Service have been called to a fire in the Peachland area.
BC Wildfire Service says just before 5pm the blaze was spotted at 0.009 hectares in the mountains above the North Antlers Beach area.
