The BC Wildfire Service is responding to a wildfire that broke out near Highway 97C.
It's about 0.3 hectares in size and 5.5 kilometres away from where the Connector meets Highway 97.
10 BC wildfire crews are on scene as well as helicopters and air tankers.
The BC Wildfire Service says there are structures nearby but they are not threatened at this time.
Traffis is also not being affected by the fire.
