A large fire in West Kelowna, Thursday evening, forced eleven people and two pets to flee.
Firefighters from four firehalls, Westbank, Lakeview Heights, Glenrosa and Rose Valley stations, battled the blaze in the Bayview neghbourhhood behind the Walmart just after 6:30 pm.
When crews arrived - the fire had already spread into two homes.
No-one was hurt - everyone managed to safely escape the flames and are now in the care of Emergency Support Services.
Fire investigators are expected to determine the exact cause today (Friday) - but officials say it may have started by an out-of-control bar-b-cue.
