Rain and melting snow combined to cause some flooding in West Kelowna.
City Engineering Manager Rob Hillis says the ditch, along a section of Glenrosa Road, couldn't handle the water and overflowed.
He says a couple of properties on Landsbury Way were flooded, with one of the homes getting water in the basement.
Hillis says city crews are still working in the area on Thursday afternoon.
"Their main focus is to make sure that the water stays in the area where it's designed to be accommodated, as well as trying to make sure residents have access to their properties," he says.
Along Glenrosa Road, he says at least 4 driveways were damaged.
At last report, Glenrosa Road near Gates Road was down to single-lane.
