After a morning of heavy fog at YLW, flights are now coming and going freely off the airport's runway.
The fog caused a total of 9 arrivals and 9 departures to be cancelled on Monday morning.
Airport Director Sam Samaddar says this sort of thing is fairly common for this time of year.
"When we get very heavy fog that gets visibility down to less than a mile, then we get cancellations," says Samaddar. "It's all tied to safety, and the pilots have to make visual contact with the ground at a certain altitude."
Samaddar encourages passengers to check their airlines online ahead of time to ensure that their flights are set to leave on schedule.
