A Kelowna man accused of killing his wife and two daughters late last year has switched lawyers.
34-year-old Jacob Daniel Forman was initially represented by Glenn Verdurmen, who revealed last week that his client was seeking to hire new legal counsel.
During Forman's brief court appearance on Monday morning, it was confirmed that he would be represented by Ray Dieno, a lawyer out of Victoria, going forward.
Dieno will be reviewing the evidence in the case in the coming weeks in hopes that a trial date can be decided soon.
Forman has been in custody since his December 2017 arrest, when the bodies of his wife Clara and daughters Karina and Yesenia were discovered inside their Rutland home.
He faces two charges of first degree murder and one charge of second degree murder. He has yet to enter a plea on any of these charges, and will appear in court again via video conference on Monday, August 27th.
