The price of gasoline is going down another couple of pennies per litre across the Central Okanagan.
GasBuddy spokesman Dan McTeague says stations are buying their gas at around a $1.19 wholesale.
"So when you're charging 138.9 and we're all happy to see it under a 140.9, many stations now moving to 138.9, that's still about a 19 cent retail margin. So there's at least another 7 or 8 cents per litre for these prices to fall. I would expect that to happen sooner than later."
For now, McTeague says we're paying too much. He predicts a further price drop by the weekend.
"There's good news for retailers as well because the wholesale price of gas is going down again Friday."
The wholesale price has dropped significantly in the past week or so.
