A crowd of people in onesies marching around downtown Kelowna may seem like an odd sight, but it's all for a good cause.
These were participants in Kelowna's Get Loud event Thursday afternoon, which aimed to raise money and awareness for an issue that affects 1 in 5 Canadians.
“We just want people to get out and understand what mental health is so that we can erase the stigma and learn that every one of us are affected by mental health one way or another,” says organizer Theresa May.
This was one of many Get Loud events going on across British Columbia over Mental Health Week, which goes from May 7th to 13th.
