If you’re hoping for a sunny weekend with clear skies and hot temperatures… you’re about to be disappointed.
Environment Canada meteorologist Armel Castellan says we’ll be having a wet weekend in Kelowna.
“The next weather-maker is really on Saturday, as this low pressure system from offshore comes closer to the coast,” says Castellan. “At about 9 to 10 AM you should see some rain on the valley bottom.”
The high for Saturday is 11 degrees, with an overnight low of 3 degrees.
Sunday will feel like a bit of a break from the rain that we’ve been getting since Thursday, with sunny and cloudy weather, and a high of 14 degrees.
The Connector is expected to get anywhere from 10 to 12 centimeters of snow, although no warnings have been issued at this time.
