The Okanagan Chefs Association is treating clients of Kelowna's Gospel Mission to a gourmet three course meal this Saturday, April 22nd.
Co-creator of the event, Chef Willi Franz, says the primary mission is to help young cooks and secondary giving back to the community - the dinner is available to anyone in need.
He says they expect to serve about 200 meals Saturday beginning at 4:45 pm.
Gospel Mission Kitchen Co-ordinator Matt Reimer says the chefs bring their own food and prepare it on site. He says it a wondeful break for the staff - and especially for the guests to be served by top chefs in the city.
Mike Morrison, Development Director at the Gospel Mission, says they're excited to have partners who care deeply for the homeless and hurting in the community.
