The three men involved in a broad daylight shooting that rocked Kelowna in August of 2011 plead guilty to their charges on Tuesday morning.
Jason McBride is charged with the second degree murder of gangster Jonathan Bacon after shooting at him in his car outside the Delta Grand Hotel in Kelowna.
He also faces charges of attempted murder of the three other passengers of the car, all of whom were injured in the attack.
Both Michael Jones and Jujhar Khun Khun are charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
All three of the accused were initially charged with murder, attempted murder, and a number of firearms-related charges after their 2013 arrest, until the Crown and defence agreed to adjust the charges last month.
The reason for this agreement was to finally wrap up a trial that had been going on for almost a year.
Both the Crown and defence are seeking a mandatory life sentence for McBride, with no eligibility for parole for 18 years.
They are also seeking sentences of 18 years for both Khun Khun and Jones.
All three will receive credit for their five years of time served while in custody.
Judge Allan Betton is expected to hand down sentences within the next two days, possibly as early as the morning of Wednesday, May 2nd.
