A Hamilton man is facing drug charges after an ongoing drug trafficking investigation by the Kelowna RCMP led to his arrest.
Plain clothes officers took the 18-year-old man into custody last Saturday, May 6, in the parking lot of a business on Highway 33 near Rutland Road.
He was found in possession of two dozen individual packages of crack cocaine, hundreds of dollars in cash and multiple cell phones.
Police also executed a search warrant at the man’s Big White residence where they found over 54 grams suspected crack cocaine, over 90 individually packaged pieces of suspected crack cocaine totalling over 30 grams, over a gram of suspected heroin and equipment used for the sale of drugs.
The man has been released from custody and is expected to appear in court in July.
