The City wants your help in shaping the way it offers recreation programs and activities by filling out the 2019 recreation survey. Share your thoughts on recreational and cultural activities in the community as well as your experience with City programs for a chance to win a three-month family pass or six-month individual membership to Parkinson Recreation Centre.
“Physical activity and social connections are an important part of creating healthy people and healthy communities,” said Mariko Siggers, Community & Neighbourhood Services Manager. "We want to understand what types of recreation and cultural programs Kelowna residents enjoy, how we can improve City programs and what kind of barriers exist for people to participate. We need the community’s help to shape the programs and services we offer so that all residents can be active, healthy and connected.”
The survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and can be taken online at getinvolved.kelowna.ca/recreation-survey.
You can also take the survey in person at the annual Customer Appreciation Day. Drop by Parkinson Recreation Centre on Thursday, November. 28 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and enjoy a free swim and/or workout, refreshments, prizes and more.
