Health Minister Adrian Dix spoke on AM 1150’s Early Edition saying we are only at the end of the beginning with COVID-19.
“We’re not through this, and we can't act otherwise. We have two poultry plants in Metro Vancouver that have 92 cases and they've emerged kind of late in the latter part of April as issues. So, we have to change our behaviour and be more disciplined about it...as we interact with each other more.”
Dix says we won’t be getting closer to the end until there is a vaccine.
He added that measures such as plexi-glass shields and limiting the number of people in stores will become the new normal.
