For the second time this season, Michael Herringer from the Kelowna Rockets has been named as the WHL's Goaltender of the Week.
Herringer and the Rockets led off last week with a 5-1 win over Prince George Wednesday night, followed by a 34-save performance in a 3-2 shootout win over Everett, where Herringer stoned all six Silvertips in the shootout.
On Sunday, he came off the bench after the first period, and stopped all 15 shots over the final two frames, in a 4-2 win over Tri-City.
In those three wins, Herringer posted a 1.10 goals-against average and a save percentage of 9-61.
He's now the second Rockets goalie to win the award in four weeks, after Brodan Salmon earned the honour for the week of February 6-12.
Herringer also won the award for the week of October 17-23.
