As we observe the first anniversary of legal marijuana in Canada, one of the big questions is - why has the BC Government been so slow in making it happen?
Dr. Lyle Oberg of Kelowna's Flowr Corporation, "Especially when it comes to the opening of stores. That's something the government had a direct role in and it's something they could've done very quickly. In Alberta for example, there's over 250 stores open at this time, whereas in BC, I think there's around 75 or 80."
Oberg continues to be baffled by the Horgan government especially since mre stores mean more tax dollars going to government coffers.
He remains bullish on the future of the cannabis industry with Canadian companies leading the way around the globe.
