It's not cooling off anytime soon - a ridge of high pressure will continue to dominate the Okanagan this week.
Environment Canada's Ross MacDonald says the system is bringing a lot of hot air from the south, and high temperatures are expected to hit the mid-30's on Wednesday - and upper-30's by Thursday and Friday.
He predicts some records could fall.
"We're looking at a high temperature for Kelowna on Friday of 37 degrees - the record for that day is 35.6 - so certainly forecasting a record high temerpature at this point," he says.
MacDonald says the heat will stick around into next week, as well.
The normal high for this time of year is 26 - the normal low is 11.
