Environment Canada says a string of hot, sunny days is on the way.
Meteorologist Cindy Yu says a ridge of high pressure, building over the Pacific, will bring us some summer-like weather this weekend.
"Friday we should be seeing temperatures in the mid-20's, and by Saturday and Sunday, daytime highs should be in the upper-20's or low-30's - and that will be 6 to 8 degrees above normal," she says.
Yu says the sunshine, and warm temperatures, are expected to stick around until the middle of next week.
